Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc. We are currently seeking a full-time Paramedic for our Elwood contract.  Starting pay is $69,293.00

The basic function of the Paramedic is to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at the Paramedic (EMT-P) level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.  
 

Paramedic Qualifications:

• Paramedic License 
• OSFM Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification (preferred upon hire, otherwise must enroll in fire academy within 18 months)
• OSFM Hazmat Technician (preferred) 
• CPR Certified  
• 19 Years of age
• Valid Illinois Class "B" Non-CDL Driver's License  
• ACLS 
• PALS 
• Successfully completion of pre-employment NFPA 1582 physical, drug screen and background check
